Jorge N. Borri

Jorge N. Borri is the Managing Director and founder of JB Tax & Advisory Services, LLC since October 2013.  Before establishing JB Tax & Advisory Services, LLC, he acted as Managing Partner of the CPA firm JLM & Co. LLP ( formerly known as Jose Luis Mendoza & Company, LLC), where besides being the Managing Partner, he was also the Partner in charge of Business Development, Consulting and Tax Practice.  Before joining JLM & Co., LLP as a Manager in 2007, Mr. Borri was the Southwest, Mexico and Canada Controller for AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis, Inc.), a $7 billion international publicly traded owner and operator of industrial real estate. He was responsible for overseeing the financial planning and reporting for AMB’s domestic operations in Southern California, Texas, New Orleans, and international operations in Mexico and Canada. From October 2000 until May 2004 he served as a Senior Associate of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in San Juan, PR and San Francisco, CA

Mr. Borri graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico- Rio Piedras Campus in December 1997 with a Bachelors in Business Administration majoring in Accounting.

Mr. Borri is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Puerto Rico since 2000 and is also a member of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is certified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a Registered Paraplanner under the College for Financial Planning.
